Trenton Campbell is a charismatic, focused, passionate actor working toward being the best entertainer yet.

He is an Atlanta-born stage and screen actor with more than 15 years in theatre. He originated the leading role of Dae in the world premiere of EXPOSED, and stars as Jacoby in the independent thriller The Fall.

Trenton first found his passion for the stage through Turner Chapel AME’s Drama Ministry and Mime Ministry at the age of seven.

Trenton is filming his second independent film, The Last Love Letter — written and directed by Jem Puriti, co-directed by Jermel Payne. No release date has been set yet.

EXPOSED is also preparing for its world tour, with Atlanta as the next stop on October 29–30, 2026.

Trenton has more than 15 years of experience in theatre, beginning at an early age.

Alongside stage work, his foundation is in physical performance: 15 years of mime and 14 years of stepping. Both disciplines train an actor to carry story through movement, expression and rhythm rather than dialogue alone.

He has also trained with the Ethridge Arts Ensemble in Marietta, Georgia.

EXPOSED is a stage production directed by Joel P.E. King. Trenton originated the leading role of Dae in its world premiere at the historic Grandel Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri.

The production is now on a world tour, and Atlanta is the next stop. New Works Theatre Company brings it to the Sewell Mill Library & Cultural Center in Marietta on October 29–30, 2026, both performances at 7:30 PM. Details are posted at jpek.org.

The Fall is an independent thriller from Melanated Moni Productions, directed by Jem Puriti. Trenton stars as Jacoby.

Release is set for Halloween 2026.

EXPOSED is about a man playing an internal game of tug-of-war between his old ways and some harsh truths that may force him to evolve.

It is a provocative, emotionally intense adult drama examining brotherhood, mental health, family ties, sexuality, relationships, generational trauma, accountability, grief, and healing.

Dae is a guy who is comfortable in his subpar ways. He knows what he is capable of but refuses to operate at his full potential. He is conceited, ignorant, and caught in delusion.

It was exhilarating. St. Louis had great energy, and it was my first time performing outside of Georgia.

Jacoby is the charming centerpiece of a friend group that has stuck together since early high school. He is a caring friend — but he will do what it takes to save himself.

Steven is a hardworking and loving grandson who cares deeply about his mother and grandmother. He is coming into his manhood and learning how to juggle money, love, and life.

It was an honor to even play him once. Truly an eye-opening experience in controlled acting.

The challenge I enjoyed in years two and three was adding different levels onto what I had discovered in the years before.

This emotional piece takes place in the Scotts’ household in 1987. Dr. Daniel Paul — Jr.’s Black History professor at Morehouse — has lit a fire under Jr. to go march with Hosea Williams and learn everything he can about his history. Things take a turn when more is uncovered about the family’s past.

The play connects the family to the 1912 racial expulsion of Black residents from Forsyth County, Georgia, and asks whether three generations will leave that history buried or confront it publicly.

The 1912 Forsyth County expulsion was the violent forced removal of more than 1,000 Black residents from Forsyth County, Georgia.

Following accusations against several Black men, white mobs carried out lynchings, attacks, and the burning of Black homes, churches, and schools — forcing families to flee and abandon their land and communities. The events effectively created a decades-long exclusion of Black residents from the county, and remain a significant part of Georgia’s history.

It is the history underneath From Sundown to Sunrise, in which Trenton played Dr. Daniel Paul.

Mime trains an actor to make intention legible without a single word — where the weight sits, what the hands are doing, what the body gives away before the character chooses to speak. Stepping trains rhythm, precision and the discipline of performing in time with other people.

Together they shape a performance style rooted in physicality, emotional depth and presence, and they carry directly into stage and screen work: blocking, stage combat, silent reactions, and holding a moment without dialogue.

By doing your research and finding the best way you can relate to them. Great actors deliver from a place of honesty, so finding those relatable aspects helps draw me closer to an honest space I can share with the character.

By staying in character the whole time. Acting is a mindset — and if your mindset doesn’t break, then neither will your character.

No. It may make things easier, but there are people all over Atlanta looking for talent and extras.

Trenton is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and works throughout the Southeast — recent productions have staged in Atlanta, Marietta, Athens, Kennesaw, Jonesboro and Lithonia.

He also works outside the region and is available to travel. The world premiere of EXPOSED ran at the Grandel Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri.
